Accessing my email account

There are 2 ways to access your ARDITI email.

• Webmail - https://mail.arditi.pt
• IMAP client

We suggest you to use the following Email Client: Mail (on Mac), Thunderbird (on Windows/Linux).

Email client configuration

Incoming Server (requires authentication)

• Server: mail.arditi.pt
• Username: full email address
• Port: 143
• Protocol: IMAPS (IMAP with STARTTLS)

Outgoing Server (requires authentication)

• Server: mail.arditi.pt
• Username: full email address
• Port: 587
• Protocol: SMTPS (SMTP with STARTTLS)

Mail (Mac)

1. Open "Mail"
2. Choose to add an account and select "Other Mail Account..."
3. Fill your email address and password and click "Sign In"
4. On the "Account Type" select "IMAP", on "Incoming Mail Server" and "Outgoing Mail Server" write "mail.arditi.pt", then click "Sign in"
5. Select which apps you want to use the account for and click done
6. Mail is ready to use

Thunderbird (Windows/Linux)

1. Download thunderbird at https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/
2. Install thunderbird and open it
3. Fill your credentials
4. On the server configurations put the configuration show in #Email client configuration and on authentication method pick "normal password
5. Click connect and let you emails sync
6. Thunderbird is ready to use
