Matomo

Matomo is the web analytics platform used for ARDITI websites; some research groups have their own setup of other tools like Google Analytics.

Add a new website

• Authenticate with an admin account on https://www.analytics.pt
• Navigate to "All Websites"
• Click on "ADD A NEW WEBSITE"
• Select "WEBSITE"
• Fill the "Name" field, fill the "URLs" field with both http and https URL's
• On the "Excluded IPs" paste:

 10.0.0.0/8
 172.16.0.0/12
 192.168.0.0/16

• On field "Site Search" pick "Site Search tracking enabled"
• Click "SAVE"
• Click "View Tracking code" on the website just added
• Click "EMAIL THESE INSTRUCTIONS" and send them to the user responsible for the website in question

Give access to a user

• Go to https://analytics.arditi.pt and authentificate
• On the top menu, next to "Tag Manager" click on the settings icon
• On the left side menu, click on "System" and on "Users"
• On "Role for" pick the website you want to give the user access to
• If the user already exists change on his select box from "No access" to whatever type of access you want to give to that user, if the user doesn't exist yet click on "INVITE A NEW USER", fill the user information, click on "INVITE USER" and fill your password and click on "CONFIRM", click on "Resend invite/Copy invite link" and on the popup that opens click on "COPY INVITE LINK" and send it to the user
