VPN access

Give VPN access

• Access the Mikrotik router web interface, the URL and credentials are on the Bitwarden ARDITI Collection
• On the left side menu, navigate to "PPP"
• On the "PPP" page on the top menu, navigate to "Secrets"
• Click on "New"
• Fill the following fields: "Comment" with the group of the user (e.g, "_mare", "_iti", "_oom", "_staff"), "Name" with vpn_GROUP_FIRSTNAME.LASTNAME (e.g. "vpn_staff_francisco.silva"), "Password" with a random generated password, "Service" which is normally "l2tp", and the "Profile" which is normally default unless is an external user, which then it should be "external", or if it's a system admin, it should be "No-Limit"
• Send the details of the vpn created to the instituional email of the user with the following template:
