This page shows the steps to follow to add or do maintenance on the CUPS server configured to the printers in ARDITI. If you want the steps to add a printer to a computer, see add to a macOS computer or add to a Windows computer.

System information

Adding a printer

  • Under the "Printers" section, click on "Add Printer". If you are not authenticated as admin, you will be required to now
  • Select "Internet Printing Protocol (ipp)", and click "Continue"
  • On the "Connection:" field, put "ipp://PRINTER_IP", where PRINTER_IP should be the IP address configured for the printer you want to add
  • Click "Continue"
  • Fill the name following the following convention: ARDITI_FloorNumber_Room (e.g. ARDITI_02_HALLWAY_02)
  • Fill the "Description" and "Location" fields with the physical location of the printer (e.g., Tecnopolo Floor -2, Next to NeuroRehab Lab.)
